Best OLED TV of the year 2017: the Metz Novum OLED twin R
Plus X Award
Now the crowning glory: the Metz Novum OLED twin has received the title of "Best OLED TV of the year 2017" by the Plus X Award. After already receiving five awards in the categories Innovation, High Quality, Design, Ease of Use and Functionality in September 2016, this new award is another extraordinary affirmation for Metz’s OLED flagship.
With the "Best Product 2017" award, the Metz Novum OLED twin R has added yet another distinction to its range of awards. In addition to receiving distinctions from the world’s biggest award for innovation, the Plus X Award, in the categories Innovation, High Quality, Design, Ease of Use and Functionality, the Novum can now also boast a seal of superlative quality. The title of "Best Product" is awarded to a product when it receives more seals of approval than other products in the same category.
CEO Dr Norbert Kotzbauer summarises: "This title is of course the absolute crowning glory for the Novum and elevates it into the premium class of televi-sions. This award makes us very proud, because it is proof that we can convince the market with our commitment to quality 'Made in Germany' and new, fascinating screen technology."
The distinction of "Best Product 2017" fits seamlessly with the numerous awards and positive reviews from relevant specialist and test magazines, and further endorses the Metz company philosophy and contingent commitment to high quality products "Made in Germany". With the launch of the Metz Novum OLED twin R in autumn 2016, Metz was one of the first manufac-turers in the German market to launch an OLED television.
